I still don’t know why I’m writing this.
Maybe I’m overwhelmed.
Maybe I’m just vibing-listening to a song and letting my thoughts spill out.

So my first question isn’t just for myself, but for you-whoever is reading this:

Why you?

For context, I’ve started calling you Aura.
Now, you might be confused-who is Aura?

Aura could be anyone.
Someone you love.
A friend.
A teacher.
A mentor.

It could be anyone.

But to be honest, I’m writing this while feeling someone-someone I don’t want to disclose here. Still, I know you’ll relate.

Now, why am I writing this?

I started finding reasons-seven of them.

First, Aura makes me feel incredibly comfortable whenever I’m around them.
Second, Aura shows me genuine affection and care.
Third, when I’m with Aura, I don’t have to worry too much about anything.
Fourth, Aura makes me forget everything else-nothing matters in that moment.
Fifth, I can show my fragile side, my low points, and still, Aura never judges me.
Sixth, whenever I’m with Aura, I naturally want to show how much respect and care I have for them.

Now, before I talk about the seventh reason, I want you to pause and think.

Do these things make sense to you?
Have you ever felt this way with someone?
Maybe not all of it-but at least a part?

There’s a saying:
When you are truly with someone, you shouldn’t need reasons to be with them.

And here’s another thought-
If you are truly with someone, whether it’s a loved one, a teacher, a mentor, or a friend, and you still find yourself searching for reasons… then maybe you’re not fully there yet.

Because when you’re truly with someone, you don’t look for reasons.
You just are.
And only then do you start finding your true self.

So the seventh reason—or maybe the truth—is this:

You don’t really know the reason why you’re together.
Yet, you are.

And if there is one reason at all,
it is you—only you, my Aura.

Not because I searched for you,
not because I understood everything,
but because in your presence, I didn’t have to explain myself.

With you, I stopped counting reasons
and started becoming real.

 

And somewhere between silence and togetherness,
I found parts of myself
I didn’t even know were missing.
